I am a wife and mother of three who also has personal recovery from an eating disorder.  I suffered and recovered from Anorexia, Compulsive Overeating, Compulsive exercising, Depression, Anxiety, OCD and overall Body Image Distortion.  It was an incredibly difficult journey to finally recover, and in the process I learned a great deal about myself.   As I have spent several years of my adult life in recovery and several years in training to become a therapist, I have learned amazing ways to help others too. 

I have had a life without an eating disorder for over nineteen years and use my recovery to provide hope to those struggling as I did.   I believe in full recovery and believe that I am able to instill that hope in my clients as well.

I received my  Masters of Arts in Counseling from The Houston Graduate School of Theology in Houston, Texas.  I graduated in 2006, and trained intensively in Dialectical Behavior Therapy with Behavioral Tech.  I office in the Memorial Area of Houston, Texas and use my own experiences and my training to help those who struggle as I did.  I studied Communications where I received a B.S. from The University of Texas in Austin, and also have a Masters in Education from University of Houston.
